"To the left is a 50 ton capacity spreader beam. As Project Manager, I saw the installation of this lifting device
from start to finish. I made drawings in Autocad, had a fabricator build it, and coordinated the inspection and
load test. There was a lot of satisfaction in seeing the spreader beam used for the first time!"

"This tundish tilt stand is one of my most memorable projects. I did the design in AutoCAD, laid out
the foundations, and coordinated contractors throughout the project’s duration. The satisfaction of seeing
my work fabricated, installed, and used in operation over the past year is something I’ll never forget."

"Working with CMC Steel Alabama is a very valuable experience. In the picture on the left, I am standing on a
foundation I drew in AutoCAD and had poured. I also arranged the installation of this huge oil tank."

"At CMC Steel Alabama I have learned to apply classroom knowledge to real world applications. Here, I am wiring AC
drives for our caster motors during the Melt Shop outage in Summer '04."

"CMC Steel Alabama has allowed me to grow tremendously as a person as well as learn a great deal about engineering
at a hands on level, rather than just being in a classroom. The photos that appear are of the shipping
building saw line project that I managed. I was given the opportunity to create AutoCad designs,
foundation layouts, and arrange for contractors to do the work to make this project a success."

"At CMC Steel Alabama I have had chance to learn hands on what is taught in the classrooms. I have also
seen the responsibility and integrity it takes to be an engineer"
